DENNIS HEUER, RPh
Director of Pharmacy Services

Dennis graduated with his pharmacy degree from the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy in 1989. His career started as a retail pharmacist in Kansas City, Kansas becoming assistant pharmacy manager. He later accepted a clinical pharmacist position at Evanston Hospital specializing in Operating Room, Orthopedic, and Oncology pharmacies for 4 years. Dennis then advanced into the home infusion arena and now has close to 20 years of experience with 16 years of operations management experience. Home infusion is his passion and he is committed to providing outstanding clinical and customer service.

CAROL KING, RN, BSN, CRNI
VP Nursing Services

Carol has been involved in home health care for her entire nursing career. She was one of the first nurses to be involved in the care of home TPN patients and many subsequent high tech hospital therapies administered in the home. Carol was VP of Clinical services with Care Tech, a successful former independent home infusion company in Elmhurst, IL. Carol has held positions as the Manager of Patient Services, Nursing Administrator for the Chicago branch and Midwest Nursing Manager for Caremark. Previously, she worked at Lutheran General Hospital as a discharge planner and homecare nurse. She also worked as a consultant home care surveyor with the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.

SHILPA BAXAMUSA, Pharm.D.
Clinical Pharmacist

Shilpa graduated in 1994 with her Pharm.D. from the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Pharmacy. Her career started as a hospital pharmacist at Lutheran General Hospital and has taken her to Yale and Bridgeport Hospitals in Connecticut. Shilpa has served on numerous hospital committees including the Pharmacy and Therapeutics and Antibiotic subcommittee. She has over 7 years of hospital experience. Her in depth clinical knowledge of antibiotics and parenteral nutrition are a real asset in managing home health care patients. She enjoys collaborating with nurses and physicians to allow the best possible outcomes for patients.

LAURIE LINTON, MBA, Pharm.D.
Clinical Pharmacist

Laurie first made an appearance at IV Solutions while a senior in high school when considering pharmacy as a career. It proved to be an enjoyable experience, because she came back as a tech and for some shadowing experience.  She joined the IV Solutions team as a full time  pharmacist in 2014 after graduating from Roosevelt  University College of Pharmacy (RUCOP). While in school she founded and was President of the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) student chapter at Roosevelt, was an active member in the Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity and the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP). In 2014 she was voted Distinguished Peer of the Year and was selected to read the Pharmacist’s Oath at the 2014  graduation ceremony. During her time at IV Solutions Laurie earned the first ever prestigious “Rookie of the Year” trophy and is the current New Practitioner Mentor for the APhA-ASP Chapter at RUCOP.

HUMBERTO MUI, Pharm.D.
Clinical Pharmacist

Humberto “Bert” is a graduate of the University of Illinois System, earning the Pharm.D. in Chicago in 2000 and Masters of Science in Chemistry at Urbana-Champaign in 1996. He has been working in the home infusion setting for more than 10 years in addition to several years in the community setting. He has participated on Infusion and Therapeutics Committee, co-mentored pharmacy students from Midwestern University, and has presented continuing education programs to case managers. He values medication therapy management and being a resource for the patients, visiting nurses, and physicians.

ROY ADAMSKI, RPH, MBA
Vice President

Roy has over 38 years of experience in the health care field, the last 19 plus years in the area of home infusion. He worked for the Franciscan Sisters Health Care Corporation where he held positions of Director of Pharmacy (1975-87) and Vice President at St.Anthony Hospital, advancing to Vice President of clinical services at St.Joseph Hospital, Elgin, Illinois from 1987-1993. He helped start and was General Manager of Extended Home Infusion Services, a joint venture with a home health agency and Care Tech in 1994. After EHIS was sold in 1998 he became General Manager of Care Tech Home Infusion.

BILL HONIOTES
President/CEO/Owner

Bill has over 35 years of sales and marketing experience with 30 plus years in the health care field. The value of providing a high quality product and service he learned growing up in the family-owned supermarket Honiotes Brothers in Joliet, IL provided the foundation for IV Solutions LLC in 2001. As the VP of Marketing for Care Tech Home Infusion from 1995-2001 he was successful in marketing customized infusion services and developing strong relationships with physicians and hospital/community-based nursing agencies. Prior to Care Tech, Bill held the position of Senior Territory Sales Manager with B.Braun/Burron Medical for 10 years selling regional anesthesia and iv therapy products.
